22 days until the 1st International Conference on Enhanced Recovery – last few places left

A must attend for anyone interested in enhanced recovery is “The 1st International Conference on Enhanced Recovery”  which will take place next month in Bristol, United Kingdom. It will be the first international meeting dedicated entirely to enhanced recovery and it will be held on the 9th and 10th September.

Conference organising committee member Fiona Carter gave the enhanced recovery blog an update earlier this week explaining that  the conference admin team were just putting the finishing touches to the conference brochure. The brochure looks set to be a great resource for all those attending with fascinating contributions from over 30 expert faculty members.

Fiona went onto explain that following the call for abstracts, the organising committee were delighted to receive over 40 submissions, of which 30 were accepted for poster presentation.  Abstract topics cover several of the surgical specialties and demonstrate the range of research in ER across the UK and beyond.  At the conference, Deltex Medical have agreed to sponsor prizes for the best three posters, and the author receiving the first prize will be given the opportunity to present their abstract to the conference.
